November: cold, bright days

November feels like a sharp turn from October. Daytime highs reach 6°C, but nights fall to -5°C, so outdoor visits are best while the sun is up. The air is fairly dry, with little rain, and you'll often get clear skies. Try the Genghis Khan Mausoleum or a walk around Kangbashi's wide squares; skip long outings on the open grassland, where the cold can feel harsher. By evening, you'll be glad to head indoors.
