November feels mild

It's a good month for walking around Qingxiu Mountain or exploring the old streets near Sanjie Liangxiang. Compared with October, November is cooler and gets less rain. December is cooler still and drier, so November suits you if you want milder days for sightseeing without December's chill.

Travelling with kids? Qingxiu Mountain has broad paths and shaded spots for a gentler outing. Take the Metro to Qingxiushan station, then head in through the west gate; the park is large, so pick a few sights rather than trying to cover it all. Afterward, try laoyou rice noodles, a tangy Nanning favourite, around Zhongshan Road.
