May feels mild when the sun comes out, but cool and damp when clouds roll over the Rhine Valley. Days reach about 17°C, while evenings can fall to 6°C. Rain is common, so keep outdoor plans flexible.

You can stroll through the compact centre, visit the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein or walk up towards Vaduz Castle for valley views. The castle itself isn't open to visitors. Skip long, high-altitude hikes if trails are wet or muddy; conditions can be less settled in the mountains than in town.

May holidays and quieter days
