Tijuana Weather in December

December weather

December feels mild by day and cool after dark. Highs reach 19°C, but evenings can dip to 10°C. Rain falls on about five days, so you may get a damp spell during a city walk. November is warmer and drier; January has the same high and rainfall as December.

You can still explore Avenida Revolución, browse the shops, or visit the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). Rainy hours suit its indoor exhibitions. For ocean views, head to Playas de Tijuana, but expect cool air and don't count on a long beach day. If you're planning a hike, wet trails can be slippery.

Holiday season

December brings Christmas celebrations, including Las Posadas, gatherings that recall Mary and Joseph's search for shelter. You may also see celebrations for the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. These local traditions add a festive feel, though exact events vary by year.
