If you hate crowds, go to Guangfulin on a weekday. Travelling with kids? The indoor museum there is a handy option if rain interrupts your plans. For Sheshan, take the metro to Sheshan station, then use the local park shuttle or walk toward the entrance; wet weather can make the uphill route tiring.
