October weather on the coast

The air is less sticky than in summer, making walks around Huaguoshan a good fit. You can also visit Liandao Island, though swimming may feel chilly. Skip plans that depend on a full beach day if the sea breeze picks up.

China's National Day holiday falls at the start of October. Lianyungang's popular sights can be crowded then, especially Huaguoshan and the ferry route to Liandao.
