June weather on Anguilla

June feels warm and humid in The Valley, with daytime and nighttime temperatures both around 28°C. The air can feel sticky, and clouds often soften the sunshine. Rain falls on 12 days, but showers don't usually rule out a whole day.

You can still enjoy sandy afternoons at Crocus Bay or visit Wallblake House, the island's oldest surviving plantation house. A shower may interrupt a beach day, so keep sightseeing in The Valley as an easy backup. Long, exposed hikes are less appealing in the humid air.

Events and island rhythm

June is quieter for big events. Anguilla Day falls in May, while the island's best-known summer celebrations, including boat races and street parades, come with the Anguilla Summer Festival later in the season.

If you hate crowds, June is a good time to see local life without the winter rush. It's outside the high season of December to April, so accommodation is often less expensive than in those busy months. Some businesses may keep shorter hours or close for a seasonal break, though.

Making the most of June

With 13.1 hours of daylight, you've got plenty of time for a relaxed beach visit and a meal in The Valley. Try Anguillian crayfish if it's on the menu; it's a local favourite. The weather is still good for sightseeing, but plan around passing showers rather than expecting unbroken sun.

Travelling with kids? Keep Crocus Bay on your list: it's close to The Valley, and the sheltered cove makes a calmer beach stop than an exposed stretch of coast. If rain sets in, head back to Wallblake House or the Anguilla National Museum for a change of pace.
