March feels hot

Thane in March is hot, dry and increasingly tiring by afternoon. Days can reach 38°C, while nights are milder at around 22°C. There's little rain, so you're unlikely to lose sightseeing time to showers, but the strong sun makes long walks less comfortable.

You'll enjoy shorter visits to Talao Pali or the Kopineshwar Temple more than a full day outdoors. Save Yeoor Hills for a cooler part of the day, and avoid a strenuous hike when the sun is high. April gets hotter still, so March is a better choice if you're visiting in this part of the year.
