Cool, mostly dry days

December feels mild in Foshan. Afternoons reach about 22°C, while evenings can dip to 10°C. Rain is limited, so you can comfortably explore Foshan Ancestral Temple, stroll through Lingnan Tiandi, or visit the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln without planning around frequent showers. The shorter days mean it gets dark earlier, and evenings feel cool.

If you're hoping for pool weather, December isn't the month. It's also less suited to lingering outdoors after dark without a warm layer.

Festive season, without a big holiday rush
