October's cool, clear days

October feels crisp rather than cold in Changzhi. Days reach around 18°C, while evenings can drop to 6°C. Rain is limited, so you'll often have comfortable conditions for exploring the city and nearby Taihang Mountain scenery. The changing leaves add colour to walks around Baquan Gorge, though cloud can soften the views.
