December: cool and cloudy

December feels like a proper winter visit in Zunyi. Days reach about 12°C, but mornings and evenings can drop to 2°C. The air is damp, and thick cloud means you'll see little sun. Rain is limited to around six days, so most days are dry, though not especially bright.

That cooler weather suits indoor stops, including the Zunyi Conference site and its museum. You can still walk around the old town, but long outdoor stretches may feel chilly, especially after dark. Don't plan a day around sunshine or a warm outdoor lunch.
