For Christmas goods, head to the International Trade City's Futian market area rather than looking for a central street festival. The market is large, and many stalls serve wholesale buyers, so ask about minimum quantities before you get attached to a decoration. A few sellers may offer smaller purchases, but it's not guaranteed.

If you're visiting for the market, go during its weekday opening hours and leave time to walk between sections. On rainy days, this indoor stop works better than a long outing around Xiuhu Park.
