Warm, wet days

November in San Juan stays warm, but frequent rain and sticky air can make a full day outdoors tiring. Showers fall on 21 days, and cloud often softens the sunshine. You can still explore Old San Juan's streets and museums between showers, or visit the forts when skies look clear. The rain is heavier than in December, though a little lighter than October.

Beach time at Condado or Isla Verde can work, but don't count on long, sunny stretches. Save a flexible indoor option for wet afternoons, and avoid setting aside a whole day for a hike if the forecast looks unsettled.

Holidays and crowds
