March: warm, with rain ahead

March feels hot in the afternoon, though Jos's high elevation brings cooler evenings. Days reach 33°C, with lows around 18°C. You'll get some sunshine, but cloud can build, and rain falls on a few days. It's a clear change from February's almost dry weather, while April is wetter still.

Sightseeing around the Jos Museum and the city's craft markets works well between the warmer parts of the day. A trip to Riyom Rock can also suit you, but rain may make the surrounding ground muddy. Save long walks for dry spells, and don't count on a full day of clear skies.
