October is a shoulder month: it's generally less busy than Faridabad's cooler peak season, from November to February. You may find better hotel rates than in those months, though festival dates can bring extra demand. November is cooler and drier, so it draws more visitors for outdoor plans.

For a practical local route, take the Violet Line metro to Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh) station, then continue to the palace by local transport. Check the return route before an evening visit, especially if you're staying near central Faridabad.
