February feels damp

February is warm, cloudy and very humid in Ciudad de la Paz. The high reaches 29°C, but frequent rain and little sunshine can make the day feel sticky rather than bright. Showers fall on 21 days, so expect wet spells to interrupt plans.

You can still explore the city's broad roads and planned civic centre between showers. Keep outdoor sightseeing flexible, though: muddy ground and low cloud make long walks less appealing. February isn't a great choice for a sunny, relaxing break.

Prices may not drop much, either; there's less choice than in larger cities, and February rain doesn't bring a clear low-season deal.

January is slightly drier, while March is much wetter, so February sits between two fairly wet months. If you're visiting for sightseeing, keep indoor stops in mind and leave room to change plans. The city's wide roads can feel exposed in heavy rain, and cloudy skies can dull views.
