November: warm and mostly dry

November feels warm without October's heavier rain and heat. Afternoons reach 29°C, while evenings stay mild at around 23°C. Rain is limited, so you can plan boat trips to El Arco, beach time at Medano Beach, or a walk around the marina without much concern about a washout.

The sea and sun can still feel strong at midday. For a cooler outing, take a morning boat ride to Land's End, then spend the sticky part of the afternoon over lunch in town. Don't assume every beach is safe for swimming: the Pacific side has strong currents, so stick to Medano Beach for a swim.

Day of the Dead and local events

Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, falls on November 1 and 2. You may see altars and community events around Los Cabos, though celebrations vary by year. Mexico's Revolution Day is November 20, with public observances and possible changes to local services.

The Los Cabos International Film Festival is often held in November, but its dates vary. Families who want a calmer beach stay may prefer the earlier part of the month, before holiday travel begins.

Crowds, prices and a local tip

November marks the move from the quieter summer season into the busier winter months. It's generally less packed than December, but demand and prices can rise around US Thanksgiving. Budget travellers may find better value earlier in the month.

For a couples' outing, take a water taxi from Medano Beach to Playa del Amor. Ask about the return pickup before you get off; there's no road access, and the Pacific-facing Divorce Beach is not a safe swimming spot.
