December is one of Riyadh's easiest months for being outdoors. Afternoons reach about 23°C, while evenings can cool to 9°C. Rain is rare, and the air is fairly dry, so you can explore without the sticky heat of summer.

Spend daylight hours at the National Museum or walking around the old mud-brick streets of Diriyah's At-Turaif.
