Warm, showery days

May feels hot and sticky in Punta Cana, with humid air and passing showers on many days. You'll still get sunshine, but clouds can build and interrupt a beach afternoon. The sea and resort pools suit a relaxed swim, while a short shower can leave the sand hot and the paths damp.
