October still feels hot in Mandalay, with daytime highs around 36°C and warm nights. Rain falls on about 12 days, often in short spells, so streets can turn wet without keeping you indoors all day. Lights and local life

October is generally quieter than December and January, Mandalay's best months for a visit. You'll usually find fewer visitors than in the peak winter season, and prices tend to be lower. It's a useful trade-off if you can handle the heat and occasional rain.
