September feels heavy

September in Kanpur is still hot, damp and sticky. Days reach 32°C, while nights stay around 25°C. Humidity is high, and rain falls on 14 days, so a clear morning can turn wet by afternoon. It's a poor month for long walks through Phool Bagh or an exposed visit to the Kanpur Memorial Church.
