November: wet forest days

November isn't a major holiday month in Kenya, and there's no widely known annual Kakamega festival tied to it. For a town break, try a local meal in Kakamega between showers. December is much drier than November, so if you want easier walking conditions, shifting your trip later could help. But November can still work well if you're happy with a quieter stay and don't mind wet afternoons.
