November weather

November is one of the best months to visit Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl. Days are mild, with highs around 22°C, while mornings and evenings can feel cool, with lows near 8°C. The air is often fairly clear, and rain is much less common than in October.

That makes it a good time to explore Parque del Pueblo, browse local markets or take a day trip into central Mexico City. You'll get plenty of daylight for sightseeing, but don't count on warm evenings outdoors. Skip plans that depend on a full day of rain-free weather less often than in October, but keep in mind that November still gets some showers.

Day of the Dead

On November 1 and 2, families across Mexico mark Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, by remembering loved ones. Cemeteries can be busy as families visit graves with flowers, candles and offerings. It's a meaningful time to see local traditions, but keep a respectful distance and ask before taking photos.

If you hate crowds, visit Parque del Pueblo on another day and avoid going to cemeteries during family gatherings.

Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl isn't usually a major tourist stop, so it can feel more local than central Mexico City. The start of the month may be busier around Day of the Dead, while the city is generally quieter than during December's holiday period. Prices can also be less pressured than in December, though they vary by area and demand.

For an easy outing, use Mexibús Line 3 to reach Neza from Pantitlán, then head to Parque del Pueblo. November's cooler evenings make its outdoor spaces more comfortable than the rainy summer months. Check the return route before you go, especially if you're staying in Mexico City.
