Visiting Caloocan in November
November feels damp
November in Caloocan stays warm, with daytime highs around 29°C and nights near 24°C. The bigger challenge is the rain: showers fall on most days, and the air can feel sticky. October is a little warmer and wetter; December brings even more rain.
You can still visit the Bonifacio Monument at Monumento or browse indoor shops when the skies open. But long outdoor walks and plans that depend on dry paths can be frustrating. Leave room to change plans if a shower interrupts your trip.
Undas and Bonifacio Day
All Saints' Day on November 1 and All Souls' Day on November 2 bring families to cemeteries to remember loved ones. La Loma Cemetery, on the Caloocan–Manila boundary, can be especially busy. Expect more local traffic around cemetery visits.
Bonifacio Day falls on November 30. The Bonifacio Monument at Monumento gives the holiday a direct connection to the city, though celebrations and closures can vary.
If you hate crowds, avoid cemetery areas around Undas and choose another day to visit La Loma.
Crowds and local tips
Caloocan is generally quieter for visitors than during the December holiday rush or the drier January and February period. Prices may be less pressured than in December, but local hotel rates vary. The main crowd spike is around Undas, not across the whole city.
For a visit to the Bonifacio Monument, remember that Monumento is a busy traffic junction. A sudden downpour can make crossing and walking nearby less pleasant, so use the LRT-1 Monumento station and keep your visit flexible. If rain sets in, nearby indoor stops are a more comfortable choice than waiting out the weather on the pavement.
