San Francisco stays mild in November, with daytime highs around 18°C and nights near 9°C. Rain falls on about seven days, so you'll likely get plenty of dry time for walks and sightseeing. Still, showers can interrupt a day outdoors, and evenings feel cool.

On a clear afternoon, walk the Embarcadero toward Pier 39; you'll have the bay views without committing to a long exposed hike.
