Hot days by the sea

March feels hot and humid in Mombasa, with warm nights and brief rain on some days. It's a little cooler than February, but there's more rain; April is wetter still. Expect sunshine between showers, though cloud can soften the glare.

There isn't a major annual Mombasa festival that reliably falls in March. Ramadan sometimes overlaps with the month, depending on the year.
