July feels mild rather than hot in Ecatepec, but rain shapes the day. Showers are likely, with cloudy skies and limited sunshine, so outdoor plans can be interrupted. The evenings feel cooler than afternoons.

The rain can make traffic slow and muddy paths less pleasant. Keep indoor stops, such as the Casa de Morelos museum, as a backup.
